Philips audio transformers data... (reply)

You can ask the guy(Frans)by email. I'm almost shure he can help you out with this. He's got huge loads of "not scanned yet" databooks, datasheets and service manuals. Sometimes he will ask a very small fee to cover the costs but it's a few cents a page.

Regards, Huub P

Philips audio transformers data... (reply)

Thanks a lot for your help. Unfortunately, the oldest databook is from 1967, and at th etime, audio tranformers had dissappeared from transistor radio sets... too heavy and too expensive !
So I'm looking for something from the years 1960-1965, which is not easy to find !

Hi,
try this link: http://www.electronicsandbooks.com/eab1/manual/index.php?dir=Electronic+Component+Databook+Datash...
Almost any Philips databooks (and other brands)are scanned and placed online.
Beware that most of the files in the section "databooks" are very large because it's the complete book.
Have fun!

Best regards, Huub P

Philips audio transformers data...

Hi,

I'm sorry... I don't speak dutch, but I do my best to understand it with google translate

I am interested in Philips transistor radios from the mid-60s, for instance of the P or the L serie.

Some of the audio transformers in these sets are rather unusual, and I would like to know some more about them.

Is there any technical book out there describing the way these Philips audio transformers were made : type of lamination, wire gauges, number of turns, interleavings, etc. ?

Thanks for your possible help !
