Not really, it is more about repairing vintage transistorized equipment than about collecting transistors.

Hi Dave,

It all depends on your definition of a transistor. Do you use the word transistor to refer to the tiny 3-legged active component, or do you mean transistor radios?

If you are looking for information about a specific transistor, there is a good chance that someone on this forum might have a datasheet for it and be prepared to scan it in.

Welcome to the forum!

This forum was split off from the 'Dutch old radio forum', also refrred to as Buizenforum, to cover electronics without electron tubes. It covers both solid state equipment and the components such as transistors, but is not specifically for collectors of either transistors or transistor radios.

A general databook archive can be found at http://electronicsandbooks.com/edt/manual/index.php while some databooks can also be found in specific sections of www.freeservicemanuals.info and https://frank.pocnet.net/

If you have specific questions or searches, you're always welcome to post them to this forum.

I often use "All Transistors. Equivalents Search"

Or just mention your typical Transistor search and the many of us have Databooks at hand.
or can help you find replacement suggestions.
