Datapoint manual ;
"each drive accepts only qualified double density diskette media and provides
256 kB single density mode
512 kB dual density mode

Manual tell's:
Preparing diskettes for use
Received from maufacture already a format.

Only diskettes in 3740 format (128 bytes sector) are usable by Dos.C (*EDIT; I have DOS.G 2.6 running)
Disccettes in system 32 format (256 byte sector) or IBM 3600 format (512 bytes sectors) cannot be used.

Diskettes cannot be used by DOS.C until they haven been generated with DOSGEN program.
Datapoint usses its own unique file structure which is capable of more sophisticared data and file manipulation than the standard IBM.

C.10.2 Size of a diskette
there are 77 tracks each contains 13 256 byte sectors (physically 26 128 byte sectors).
First track is not used to help provide compatibility with IBM equipment, additionally the logical last sector on each track (sector 12 counts from 0) is not used by DOS.C

At the manual off DOS.G
" Dos.G supports Double-Density diskettes. Befor this can be used execute Backup or DOSGEN.
The command will allow user to quickly convert a diskette to Double dencity mode."
